High Protein Chocolate Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (90g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein (Dreamy Chocolate Delight)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup (240ml) cow's milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tbsp (30g) melted butter or oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt

  • 3/4 cup (90g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein~ 65.5g Protein
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour~ 12g Protein
  • 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt~ 10g Protein
  • 1 cup (240ml) cow's milk~ 8g Protein
  • 1 egg~ 6g Protein
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder~ 2g Protein
Recipe
  1. 1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, whey protein, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the high-protein milk, egg, Greek yogurt, maple syrup/honey, melted butter/oil, and vanilla.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (don't over mix).
  4. Heat a lightly greased skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Scoop batter onto the hot surface in 1/4 cup portions.
  6. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side until set, 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Serve hot with desired toppings like fruit, nut butter, or honey/maple syrup.
