How much protein do I need?
Ingredients
- 1 scoop (33g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein (Cappuccino Carnival)
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1/3 cup honey/date syrup
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt/Himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips(optional)
Protein Breakup
- ½ cup Almond butter~ 26g Protein
- 1 scoop (33g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein~ 24g Protein
- 1 cup rolled oats~ 12g Protein
- 1 tbsp(14g) chia seed~ 2g Protein
Recipe
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, Whey Protein, chia seeds, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and form a dough-like consistency.
- If using chocolate chips, fold them into the mixture.
- Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls (about 1-1.5 inches in diameter). If the mixture is too sticky, you can refrigerate it for 15-20 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
- Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to a month.
