Recipe
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the whey protein powder, peanut butter, honey, and milk. Mix well until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached. If the dough is too wet, add more protein powder or cocoa powder.
- Form Truffles: Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
Chocolate Coating (Optional):
Melt Chocolate: If using the dark chocolate chips, melt them in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until fully melted. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using a double boiler.
Coat Truffles: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring an even coating. Place the coated truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate: Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate coating has hardened.
- Store: Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
