High Protein Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop(33g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein (Dreamy Chocolate Delight)
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1- 2 tsp preferred sweetener to taste(maple syrup, honey, date syrup)
  • Pinch of Dessert/Himalayan salt
  • 1 cup Cow’s milk or water or both

Optional Ingredients

  • ⅓ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ⅓ tsp vanilla extract
  • Fruit of choice apple, banana, blueberries
  • Nut butter

Protein Breakup

  • 1 scoop(33g) NoFuss Essentials Whey Protein~ 24g
  • 240 ml (1 cup) Cow’s milk~ 8g
  • 50 grams (½ cup) rolled oats~ 6g
Recipe

Step 1. Cook the Oats

Stovetop Method:
  1. Heat milk or water in a nonstick pot until it boils.
  2. Reduce the heat, then add rolled oats, preferred sweetener and a pinch of salt. Optionally, add cinnamon and vanilla.
  3. Simmer over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from the stove when desired texture is reached.

Microwave Method:
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, mix oats, sweetener, and a dash of salt. Optionally, add vanilla and cinnamon>
  1. Add water or milk, then stir.
  2. Microwave on high for 1.5 to 2 minutes, stopping to stir if it overflows.

Step 2: Add Protein Powder
  1. In a separate bowl, mix protein powder with a small amount of water or milk.
  2. Gradually add more liquid to achieve the desired consistency.
  3. Stir the protein mixture into the cooked oats. Avoid reheating.
